Kids can challenge a Silver Knights chess coach to a friendly game. To make it fair, our coach will play against 8 players at the same time. Test your chess skills and possibly win a prize!

We are teaching chess in the Kids Zone all weekend. Whether you’ve just learned to play or you are an experienced player, it is important to test your skills in over-the-board combat. Our coach will play up to eight players at the same time. This format is a long tradition in chess, known as a simultaneous exhibition match or “simul”. Challengers will have a chance to play against a much stronger opponent and to learn from their game. This event is recommended for ages 6-13, all skill levels are welcome.
